Office of Safe Environment/CORI
The Diocese of Fall River has established the Office of Safe Environment which is located at the Chancery. All new employees and volunteers who work with or have access to children in any capacity in the Diocese of Fall River are required to have a CORI background check, complete a Safe Environment Training on-line through CMG connect and provide a valid Driver's License.
Upon completion of the training on-line, a certificate is issued which should be attached to the paperwork. The on-line Safe Environment Training is completed every six years.
Returning employees who have already completed the Safe Environment Training on-line must complete a CORI background check,provide a valid driver's license and sign the Code of Conduct every three years.
Returning volunteers who have already completed the Safe Environment Training on-line must complete a CORI background check, provide a valid driver's license and sign the Code of Conduct every year.
If you are a Rhode Island resident a Rhode Island Affidavit must be submitted with the paperwork. It must be notarized and signed.
