Relay for Life S.J. Eagles Wings

The Relay For Life Team S.J. Eagles Wings was formed in the Fall of 2009 by a group of parishioners, family members and friends (many of who are still active team members today) who wanted to become a part of the Relay scheduled for June, 2010. The team’s goal was to help provide support to those fighting against a disease that takes too much - CANCER. And, to let those fighting know they do not fight alone.

Relay teams fundraise throughout the year by holding team bake sales, raffles, individual yard sales, etc., etc. Funds raised help provide patients with rides to and from medical appointments; free lodging at Hope Lodge for a patient and spouse or caregiver when extended stays are necessary for treatments away from home; to “look good, feel good” programs that can help lift their spirits when suffering effects from medications; and many, many other useful programs and services available to them and their families.
