Bring it to the Cross

We often bring our needs and petitions to the Lord asking for divine help. At times we offer our good works to the Lord as a sign of our love. Lent, however, is a time for conversion so we are invited to bring our sin and our brokenness to the Cross.

At the side altar in St. John's Church there is crucifix and a kneeler.  Find some time this Lent for personal reflection on your relationship with God, then bring to the Lord those things that have hurt your relationship.  The Cross offer healing to a heart open to conversion.

Gospel Hangouts

The Parish is providing the book "Lenten Gospel Reflections 2021" by Bishop Robert Barron. Pick up your copy of the book as you exit church (or click the image to the left to request a free copy). Beginning on the Second Week of Lent, we will host small group gatherings to share and learn with each other. The gatherings will be via Zoom and in person, as you choose. Watch the bulletin for more details, or return here for the link. Join us this Lent to reflect on God's life-changing word!
